Chess Inter Provinicals 2008 U16 Winners Connaught

Ballinasloe Chess Club was founded in 2004 and evolved out of a Community Games team formed in 2003. The adult club meets in the Usual Bar Main Street Ballinasloe on most Thursday nights at 9.00pm. Contact John Mckenna on 087 2544733 for details.

The Junior Club meets on Wednesday nights at 7.00pm in the d' Cube Marina Point . Activities will commence again on 19th September 2007

Important: The Irish Junior Chess Championships 2008 takes place at the Carlton Shearwater Hotel Ballinasloe on April 11th to 13th
